Our Story
About AmputiEase
At AmputiEase, our mission was born from personal experience.
On March 2, 2026, our family's life changed when I, Andrew, a United States Army veteran, underwent a right leg amputation. During this recovery, I quickly discovered a challenge many amputees face every day—finding a comfortable and secure way to support their residual limb while sitting in a chair or using the restroom.
Traditional solutions were uncomfortable, inconvenient, or simply didn't exist. We knew there had to be a better way.
As we searched for solutions, our church family came alongside us with encouragement, ideas, and hands-on support. Through countless conversations, trial and error, and a shared desire to improve daily life for amputees, the design for AmputiEase gradually took shape. What started as a simple need became a community effort rooted in compassion and service.
Out of that need, AmputiEase was created.
Our adjustable leg rest is designed specifically for amputees who need reliable support during everyday activities. Whether relaxing in a chair, recovering after surgery, or using the toilet, AmputiEase provides a stable and comfortable place to rest the limb, helping reduce strain and improve comfort.
And it isn’t only for amputees. The same steady support helps with other leg injuries too—a leg healing after surgery or a break, or any recovery that leaves you needing a stable, comfortable place to rest it.
As a veteran family, we understand the physical and emotional challenges that come with limb loss. This product we created is inspired by real-life experience and built with the goal of making daily life easier for fellow amputees and/or other leg injuries.
AmputiEase is more than a product—it's a solution created by a family who has walked this journey firsthand.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your recovery, comfort, and independence.
From our family to yours, welcome to AmputiEase.
